Pros & Cons
Pros
When you heft this hammer in your hand, it is at once menacing, and provokes deep thought because it is named an engineer's hammer. I use this hammer to start metal post in the ground that hold my electric fence in place.
Cons
The hard plastic, thin handle offers little chance of getting a good grip when swinging the hammer. I was disappointed after receiving this hammer.
Highlights
Quality
Excellent estwing hammer, this one with the fiberglass handle isn’t usa made but it’s very good quality.
So far i’m very happy with this hammer
I was kind of eerie buying this product.
Competitiveness
It says it is made in china, but other estwing products brag about american made.
Appears to have a non-standard 4lb head.
I would have given this a five-star rating, but estwing boasts of american made tools.
I ordered other estwing items claiming american made, so i trusted the name estwing.
