I have another one that i have used throughout undergrad and grad school, and work for over 2 decades.

The warning etched in the handle is not a joke. Handle is very good and subduing vibration and shock.

Cons

This item is misrepresented and dangerous. This contradicts the description. Hammer has a warning in big bold letters that states, safety first pick end for prying only caps theirs not mine.

Cost-cutting has hit this company like many others, but when a generic rock hammer that costs half as much as this one is so much higher quality steel, you have to think about why you'd buy from estwing. Very disappointed in the quality. False and dec... Read More

Be aware that this is a smaller rock pick than the standard estwing 22oz rock pick.

That said, it's a estwing so these things last forever.
