Pros & Cons
Pros
As good as the hf has been i love the eswing. Fantastic non marking hammer.
Been using this for cartridge reloading. Worked great for building my ikea products. Got this to push in fertilizer stakes for my fruit trees.
Lightweight but study. Sturdy, durable, and well finished.

Cons
This is engineered to fail. Would have returned the faulty tool but just started using it a few weeks ago. Pathetic quality control. Some of the defects are functional, but others are product defect.

Highlights
Quality
I used it for awhile and its sturdy and fits well in the hand overall great product
Very nice handle, well made, should last for years
I'm retuning to find a 24 oz that has the plastic heads of the dfh12 as i need this for cabinetry and furniture making.
Not for anything metallic as these red and yellow faces are soft.
Price
It was a good value for the price.
Shipping
This didn’t arrive in time so i bought another one at a well known big box store.
Competitiveness
Plus it’s made in usa which is a definitely better than the ones made in china.
I had a craftsman mallet, but after craftsman went out of business, i could not find a similar 12 ounce one.

A straight on strike seems to avoid marring the wood but a glancing blow will definitely leave a mark as shown in the picture
