Pros & Cons

Pros

The product delivers. It's simple to use, and it saves you a lot of frustration. See pics below.

It usually takes two or three cold pulls before i stop seeing remnants of my previous filament. I then do some wide temp cleaning by starting an extrusion of 50mm and set the hotend temp to 180. This makes cold pulls easy. Works great in my prusa i3 m...  Read More

Cons

The long axis on the coil i received is right around 2. Worthless without a flex conversion. It always jams, and coils up inside the barrel.

Avoid having to tear down for a clog

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I used it after every filament change and especially ones where i the filament must print at a temperature way different then the one before it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If there is residue of the previous filament running at unsupported temperatures that is where you can pick up some clogs

I will raise my z axis to about 100mm off the bed so i can see how the filament is coming out of the nozzle and heat up the hotend to 245c

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I would then extrude 10mm at a time until it looks like the petg is purged and the extrusion comes out clear

I then do some wide temp cleaning by starting an extrusion of 50mm and set the hotend temp to 180

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

While the hotend is cooling the cleaning filament is still flowing through the hotend
