Pros

Once you get this stuff dialed in, it prints out great parts. The reels inside allow for smooth movement, so the reels don't seem to go into snag mode since it allows pretty free movement without reel pushback.

The esun ebox lite 3d printing filament dryer is a good buy. The dryer works well and does help dry out the filament.

Twenty-seven hours or more has been required in some instances (with just pla) to get it back to prime. Although the levels are a bit weird and so is the timer since they don't read in specific durations. It is easy to setup.

Cons

It's brittle, crumbly, and has jammed and clogged more than any other material to date. I print small earrings and this material has no adhesion. Under extrudes and clogs randomly.

The parts that partially print are super soft and flimsy with layers separating under the slightest stress. This is so disappointing because esun pla+ is my go-to for nice pla prints. The next day i order some other brand like overture and even some r...  Read More

Quality

Product works as advertised, purchased so i could run larger spools on my printer.

Don't use default settings and this is quality filament.

Sometimes filament goes bad for other reasons or is just profoundly low quality right out of the box.

Overall i had a few failed prints using the settings recommended on the product and typical pla settings for me.

Competitiveness

If you check the manual you'll see these correlate to different temperatures for things like pla, petg, nylon, etc.

On an anycubic mega, i'm using 235c print temp, 50c bed temp, with a layer of glue stick.

The esun ebox lite 3d printing filament dryer does work, however, it is not an end all to recovering all expired materials.

I have to admit, i had low expectations at the price point of $13.
