Pros

The hotend has to be run a lot hotter, i now run it at 230 for first layer and then drop it down to 225 so far so good. This filament though is amazing. Honestly, it’s worth your money.

Looks fantastic in matte black. The colour is not quite as vibrant in the picture, more of a pastel baby blue/turquoise. Great material and great price.

Cons

This filament has under extrusion issues. It is stringy and has extreme difficulty sticking the first layer to the plate. Required a hotter nozzle temperature and slower print speed and still only got average results.

The last spool of orange pla+ is terrible. The matt version is awful. This is the worst stuff i have used in my life. Never buying again.

I hope esun either change the manufacturing process for this or discontinue it because it's damaging their brand. I suspect newer batches will be ok and put it down to lockdown which is not the seller's/manufacturers fault.

Quality

Very good filiment print quality is perfection with this filiment, wound corectly so no snags.

I've now used almost the whole roll and i'm happy with the result.

The photo shows some model rocket fins i printed and you can see the quality, the matte colour actually hides the layer lines very well.

I have had a few of these now all good quality, never a problem, i find 207°c an ideal hot end temperature.

I found at my standard temp settings of 210c too low.
