Pros & Cons
Pros
Filament spools have no tangles on them but what are put there by the user. It is wound as one solid strand on the spool. The filament itself is impressively tough and durable. Work well off my neptune 3.
Cons
I have to disassemble my bambu ams because this stuff broke inside the feeder mechanism somewhere in between prints. It is very brittle and breaks almost immediately upon starting a print. And yes i know you they reccoment bambu lab filament only for ... Read More
Spool is now much heavier.
Woke up at 1 am and tried to print. The nozzle temperatures that i have tried are from 210-220 degrees. After rolling onto a plastic roll is started snapping ever few feet. No filament i've ever used before has had this much condensation on the inside... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Its fine, seems to be durable, and prints well after calibration.
The results are clean and crisp even with basic pla+ settings in your slicer.
This is a design flaw of such printers, affecting all filaments not just esun.
I cannot recommend this brand of filament enough, i've used it for everything i print.
Price
I tend to buy rolsl on sale as they often go down in price, i would pay above $20 for a roll.
It does not jam the nozzle awesome price for the 1 kg of filament.
Shipping
The shipment arrived a day earlier that originally stated - which beat the nor'easter we are now having.
Packaging/appearance
This filament printed perfectly right out of the package, it was packaged nicely and vacuumed sealed.
Also, the filament had a bit of stringing out of the box, which is a common problem with pla+.
Spool came partially tangled but it wasn’t horrible
Competitiveness
I love using pla+ compared to pla.
Much stronger than my other standard pla (not +) and the polymaker polylite pro.
I esun filament has never let me down although the bambu brand stuff might be better.
Honestly this printed better than the bambu lab matte they sell.
