Pros & Cons
Pros
Esun pla+ is a top-notch filament for 3d printing. Firmness and consistency of the pla+ are unmatched. Prints are flawless.
Cons
The filament breaks inside the tube. It almost seems like this is not a pla+. And yes i know you they reccoment bambu lab filament only for ams.
Filament wound so badly the filament was in an actual knot. Half way through a 12 hour print and had a jam on the spool.
Highlights
Quality
Its fine, seems to be durable, and prints well after calibration.
I've had good results with this material in multiple machines, multiple settings, always performs well.
This is a design flaw of such printers, affecting all filaments not just esun.
Product is durable and does not “spaghetti” when being printed.
Price
Great value in my opinion, as i'm already on my 3rd spool.
Great product for the price definitely an upgrade from the small cheap rolls
It does not jam the nozzle awesome price for the 1 kg of filament.
Shipping
Was trying to print a forest green carbon fiber and just couldn’t so was looking for a pla forest green that could be delivered next day!
Amazon got it here in time and it printed flawlessly!
Packaging/appearance
I'm glad i ordered this filament, it prints beautiful and i like how it looks, no problems whatsoever
The wrapping looked like it was knotted.
Spool came partially tangled but it wasn’t horrible
Competitiveness
Esun pla+ through testing (see online videos from the 3d mentors/makers)has tested out to be stronger than most any fdm filament.
Much stronger than my other standard pla (not +) and the polymaker polylite pro.
I have recently started using esun pla+ and have found it prints even better tha hatchbox pla, the price is lower, and the colo... Read More

I’d also recommend dehumidifying it if that’s an option for you

I don’t have the ability to do that yet but have heard from many others that esun filament in particular needs dehumidification
