Pros & Cons
Pros
Every spool prints nearly identically with perhaps a bit of variation when it comes to stringing. My settings prints perfectly at 195c 65c. I recommend printing on a raft to avoid elephant footing.
This pla+ is even stronger than not only abs but regular pla no matter how you measure tensile, torsional, shearing. The good news is that i had a reusable spool available. This stuff just works in my bambu p1s.
Cons
It's just not worth the frustration. Will never order from esun" "they do the old bait and switch. Do not buy.
Last 1/3 of the roll is garbage as its poorly wound and the filament does not pull freely from the spool. It is so tangled it’s not even funny. Received it on cardboard reel.
The brown on this foot is both brown pla+ filament by esun. The only way this color is ‘bone’ is if you’re printing a skeleton that is supposed to look like it has been hanging out with a 3-pack-a-day * for 20 years.
Highlights
Quality
Never had an issue with the quality of this filament
I am very happy with the decision.
I'm afraid that this jerking combined with the offset center of gravity on my ender 3 s1 will cause layer inconsistencies.
I've been struggling with consistent quality, so i decided to buy a filament brand with a dedicated profile in bambu studio.
Price
Good quality pla spool - used for my ender 3 v2 and worked beautifully with 175 nozzle temp and 65 bed temp, slightly cheaper i... Read More
Shipping
They usually arrive all beat up from shipping but the filament is great.
If it stays at this lower price, around $16, i’ll overlook the cardboard spools and shipping damage.
Packaging/appearance
3 cubes on left are prints i got out of the box.
Competitiveness
I have tried several of the pla+ products on the market and the strength of esun pla+ far exceeds the competition.
For fdm, you simply cannot go wrong with esun pla+.
