Pros & Cons
Cons
Esun's pla+ filament is overpriced. It isn't possible to allow my printer to be un-supervised. Even cheaper brands of pla+ ships with higher quality.
It's like they went out of their way to overlap and tangle this on purpose. Never had a problem with any filament like this.
However, their move to cardboard spools ruins their product for me. And yes i know you they reccoment bambu lab filament only for ams.
No filament i've ever used before has had this much condensation on the inside after just a few hours on 55 c. It has tangles soooooooo many times and ruined my prints far into them. Either you have to rewind it all to another roll (which is another p... Read More
Highlights
Quality
I've had good results with this material in multiple machines, multiple settings, always performs well.
Its fine, seems to be durable, and prints well after calibration.
This is a design flaw of such printers, affecting all filaments not just esun.
Needed a few tweaks to my settings, likely due to being matte pla vs regular pla, but once dialed in, it works great!
Price
Great product for the price definitely an upgrade from the small cheap rolls
It does not jam the nozzle awesome price for the 1 kg of filament.
Shipping
Was trying to print a forest green carbon fiber and just couldn’t so was looking for a pla forest green that could be delivered next day!
Amazon got it here in time and it printed flawlessly!
Packaging/appearance
Spool came partially tangled but it wasn’t horrible
Competitiveness
Esun pla+ through testing (see online videos from the 3d mentors/makers)has tested out to be stronger than most any fdm filament.
Much stronger than my other standard pla (not +) and the polymaker polylite pro.

The reason its not a 5 star review is that both spools i bought one white and one black have snapped like uncooked spaghetti while printing

I was skeptical as this was the first filament ever purchased on a cardboard roll and i was worried if they skimped there they might have cheaped out on the making of it
