Pros & Cons
Pros
Esun pla + works best on my ender 3v2 with the hot end set to 210c and a bed temp of between 65c & 70c. The plus is more temperature dependant than ordinary pla i have found.
Stronger than normal pla and produces a nice finish. Nice strong and accurate parts with a glossy finish. White colour is much more translucent than i was expecting. If you need something for lithographs i think this would probably be excellent.
No tangles on the reel and a consistent diameter, what's not to like about that. Very forgiving filament and reasonably tough too for practical objects. Don't listen to the bad reviews about this filament.
Cons
With tangled rolls of filament, prints are extremely unreliable. This is the worst filament i have ever bought for snagging and failed prints.
Very bad bed adhesion, requires much higher bed temps than 'normal' pla. First of all, firstly, there was very little bedadhesion.
Highlights
Quality
The quality is good and there is no bubbles so love them.
I've been through a couple of rolls of the white now, print quality is great, no clogs, no tangles, definitely recommended.
I found with the esun pla+ that the sweet spot was always the same, 210 degrees for the nozzle and 55 - 60 degrees for the bed.
Some people mention poor adhesion or visible layer lines, these issues are not with the filament but with their printers.
Competitiveness
Esun makes a absolutely best filament, this little vacuum bag set is perfect, all esun products are of hight quality 10/10 from me
