Pros & Cons
Pros
The speeds on the benchys are as fast as the acceleration would allow. I was near 5000mm/s2 when it skipped a few steps. That is much faster than i was able to do with standard pla.
This pla is definitely much harder and stiffer with less flex. The filament to the touch has a great feel. Bending it has a pleasing and satisfying feeling.
The sunlu pla boasts remarkable durability and produces clean prints without any stringing. There's an absence of any spool tangles or pesky stringing issues. The price is good especially if the coupon is still active. The print quality comes out grea... Read More
Good layer adhesion and a relatively good looking calibration cube. Adhesion is spot on and it's a breeze with a.
Cons
The pictures show epla-hf and the heading says e pla-hs. The picture shows an image of an epla.
Highlights
Quality
Feels extremely sturdy and is very clean.
Very, very smooth walls and infill, no thin spots when printing high speed.
I need a quality pla that will stand up to constant use in the hands and this one is not strong enough!
It never broke whole bending it quickly or slowly.
Price
A filament worth every penny and the 5 star rating.
The price is good especially if the coupon is still active.
Packaging/appearance
Inside the box was the spool vacuum sealed in a heavy gauge plastic bag with a desiccant pack sealed in the hub.
The box included a label on the side that showed the filament to be grey esun pla hf high speed.
The filament comes packaged as you'd expect.
Competitiveness
Using similar print settings i was able to get about 2 cubic mm/s more flow versus some other pla that i had on hand.
I have had several brands of high-flow filament, and this one is as good as any.
Honestly surprised… thought this was another marketing gimmick to add a “ high speed” label to a basic pla filament.
I have included a picture to compare it with inland on the left and esun on the right.
