Pros & Cons
Pros
Bed adhesion, finish and smooth off the reel. Adhesion gets tricky below 60c plate temp but elephant feet develop at 65c.
Filament sensor works flawlessly. Prints flawlessly on ender 3 v2s with all metal hotends. Relatively inexpensive and print quality is good.
Cons
Go with eryone or matchbox or amazon3d. Quite stringy (tested all print tempts in 2° increments from 205-225) and the spool is incredibly tangled. The quality probably due to the tension of the filament is complete trash.
This stuff is a disaster. What a disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and * with a different filament.
Highlights
Quality
Great product did not have any issue with this product.
Layer adhesion is very good, quality is up there with the best and strength is very tough.
Very good print quality, can do very fine details and does stick well to the bed.
I love this color, consistent an quality print!
Price
This is the best at an affordable price.
Shipping
Good product and fast shipping i do recommend this
Competitiveness
Using my new creality 3 pro and getting fantastic prints.
Been using esun for both their 1.
I get good results with a 210c nozzle and 65c bed temp.
I've had multiple long prints fail this way, which reduces the value of esun filament.

The end of the filament is hooked at a 90 degree angle into a small hole in the spool

Its so secure that if i have a print that would run out of filament the print ends up failing because the extruder motor cant pull the filament out of the spool so that the filament sensor can trip and pause the print
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Instead the motor just strips the filament and the print continues on its merry way printing nothing in midair
