I cant speak to the accuracy of it as i dont have anything else to measure against but it passed the calibration tests fine

Even if it was not the calibration procedure is very straight forward and everything that you need is already included

The lcd screen is back lit so it is very easy to see at any angle and the reading do not turn off after 5 seconds like can happen on some of these

It does feel like the bottom is not terribly watertight so i would not recommend putting it in too deep when taking readings
