Pros

This scale is perfect for weighing our hedgehog and hampster. It allows me to measure abalone inlay pieces and other small pieces. Divided mixes up in half and labeled in ziploc bags.

Cons

It reads a nickel as 2-3 grams even though a nickel for sure weighs 5 grams. Does not calibrate properly either. The connectivity of the scale is also weak.

Don't be fooled by the 2 year warranty. Otherwise you pay shipping to return a defective item and they will then send you a replacement. Already ask for refund.

Ive had scales in the past that turn off if the weight didnt change in 30 seconds.

The price wasn’t to bad at all

I think its a bit over priced.

Shipping

One of the units started taking longer to turn on so i sent an email to the company and they sent me a replacement.

I can also remove it to measure packed shippers.

Competitiveness

I'll never gamble on another brand until etekcity disappoints me.

My present model is a little different, but having owned and used one for about three years, i won't buy another brand.
