Old review every time i weigh my gear the number is slightly different though within a few ounces so its acceptable just not very precise

Yes every single time you put something on it and get a reading you have to take it of and hit a button to reset

This is pretty annoying in practice and i wish there was a way to disable this hold feature

In fairness i use it to set and check the draw weight on compound archery bows 12lbs for teaching little kids 20lbs for my 8 year olds practice 25lbs for bowfishing and my practice 30lbs for my daughter to hunt small feral hogs 55lbs for me to deer hunt and 70lbs for me to hunt the big feral hogs

I checked them all by hanging free weights and by 70lb it was ony reading 12lb different than what the weights said and it never changed

Item arrived with batteries installed not a good way to store items before shipment and makes me wonder if it was a return
