Pros
Used it to measure the temperature of a human forehead. Works great and the heat readings are very reliable. I primarily use it to check the stone in my pizza oven, and it's accurate from a few 100 degrees all the way up to 900+ f.
This is really handy when trying to cook more delicate meals from the stovetop. Same as name brands, accurate and cheaper. Very handy to have when using a griddle.
Cons
Etekcity is a sham. There is no fix for this, (i tried rubbing alcohol to no avail) I love the tools and i’ve been wanting to raise silkworms so it’s a 2 in 1.
This infrared thermometer reads almost 10° lower. It is not accurate and stops functioning at times.

I cant tell you if the temperature is accurate but with all the charts specifying the temps for cooking specific items and me using this thermometer ive successfully cooked all that ive attempted and with no issues at all
