Never knew the honing steel that long rod in your knife set only straightens the blade of the knife doesnt sharpen it

Makes a little noise but it isnt like a nailbiting chalkboard scratching noise3

I had also tried using a whetstone to sharpen my knives the oldfashioned way but all that did was scratch up the blades and did not make them considerably sharper

The number 1 and 2 are stamped in the metal and i think that doesnt look appealing so i would have liked to see either a decal or nothing at all

They will wear out eventually and i am unsure if you can replace them or a whole new device would need to be purchased
