Pros
Seared steak, as opposed to grilling, seems to measure accurately for surface temps. Now find this little device to be indispensable in my kitchen.
Cons
Product operates fine but you can't hold it, all the rubber is sticky so you can’t touch or hold it. No change with a third new battery.
It says that it's not good for measuring temperature of stainless steel cookware. It's often off from 10-12 degrees. Always lower than a thermometer.
Mostly sat on shelf. It is in the garbage where it belongs.
