When i was first offered this lamp i thought meh it probably wont be very bright or wont hold a good charge

Most of the unit is in the top so as the video reviewer stated you get multi directional light at the bottom of the unit rather than having a battery back or fuel canister hookup

The solar panel appears to be quality and charges the unit which you can see via the indicator light even under the least amount of sunlight

You may never need to use it but it should mean something that etekcity believes so strongly in their products that theyre offering such a longterm warranty on an electronic item

It isnt a glaring light and it points down so it doesnt shine in your eyes
