Definitely not near 1200 mahthe only thing i wish they included on the etekcity btc700 was a button to cycle through the slots like the maha powerex wizard one or buttons on each slot toget to their information right away like the la crosse bc700 or 1000

I found that if more than 2 batteries are being charged simultaneously the maximum charging current is reduced to 700mah per bay

If you are charging 4 batteries simultaneously the maximum instantaneous charge is 700mah

A typical aa battery is over 2500mah which means between 3 and 4 hours to completely charge it from empty
