Pros

The etekcity esl100 light bulbs are easy to install and set up. What's good about smart bulbs is avoiding messing with smart switches and c wires. The draw back is when you have a power interruption.

These dimming lights are great led lights which save a lot on electricity. Great dimmable and brightness. Integrates in my google home, and i love they are easily dimmable.

Cons

One of the four etekcity lightbulbs does not work. When they are connected to alexa then they are great, the problem is that they disconnect often. Even at 100%, not really very bright. Ghz ssid, still no luck.

Have had first set since 2015 and still working great

Have etekcity plugs and now the bulbs and all works flawlessly.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it and started from the beginning and every time it would pop up unable to connect etekcity to internet.

In case of a power failure and upon return the bulbs will turn on and won't remember the last state off.

Price

Great value and easy to set up with the versync app and alexa app.

Competitiveness

* if this is your first time and you have comcast or xfinity both your networks may have the same name if you see only one network.

I bought a different brand first and couldn't get them to hook up to alexa.
