Packaging/appearance
It connected just like the smart outlets on the etekcity app and alexa can control them.
Was easier to setup in the vesync app and transition over to google home.
Competitiveness
Previously i have only been able to find expensive 3-way kits that require you to replace both sides.
I’ve got a few of these etekcity switches and they seem to be pretty good so far.

This product worked great, and like all etekcity products was easy to connect to network, and vesync, and then to amazon alexa.
