It powered up right away and i was able to see the ssid on my nexus 5 android 6

The two issues i had were 1 i had to manually select the ssid whenever i was at my house or else it would default to my home network and 2 android kept prompting me to verify my connection since the ssid didnt have an internet connection

I would always have to remember to select yes before it would stay connected

I immediately changed the odb2 connection type from bluetooth to wifi but in order for torque pro to connect to the scanner i had to quit and restart the app and continued to have to do this in order for the app to connect to the scanner or else it would just sitting there trying to connect forever

Once you get the scanner to connect to torque pro everything just works

The one downside i noticed by needing to run off of wifi is that many of my google voice calls and text messages werent coming through and would only come through if i disconnected wifi and switched back to lte while i was driving
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
To me this is a significant inconvenience and somehow by being connected to the scanner via wifi while also not being connected to the internet interfered with the lte which was connected to the internet being used
