Pros
All the features appear to work flawlessly. Works like a charm.
Under 5 minutes to install, configure and create a schedule. Once you are done installing, you can share with multiple users in your household and alexa. Once setup, it is stable.
These are the newest that i purchased. They work as advertised! They work well and are beyond my expectations for the price.
Make sure you are connected to a 2. Screen. Hit the + icon to add a device. Switch back to the vesync app screen for connecting device. Once this step completes you are now connected and you will see the device in your list of devices.
Cons
The app is difficult and buggy. The app needs an update for these to work! Fortunately advise from fellow amazon shopper rescued me. But there appears to be no way to command my iphone to access 2. Ghz. Sending back for a refund.
One of the three requires a power cycle every month or so. One unit hangs in the on position. A power cycle results in the wifi connection being permanently lost.

They were back ordered, had to wait a week or two, but worth it.
Competitiveness
I really like vesync’s chart of past energy usage, as compared to wemo plugs.
These also show energy usage for cheaper than kasa as well which is awesome.
Compared that to boring and unhelpful graphs from the smart life competition, and etekcity wins.
This is something that is missing from the bigger brand plugs unless you want to pay extra for it.

I was concerned that the night light wasnt programmable but if you want you set it so that it does not come on
