Pros
Not only is it a very stylish and frankly, exciting scale to use and look at, it's also very accurate. While it falls just a little shy of a 5 rating, it is still well worth the money. For the price it seems like a great value.
Battery lasts a while. I love that the battery is rechargeable. The other is a digital thermometer that i use for cooking.
Sharing is mot as fast as it appearing on the native app. I just kind of wish it was a separate app because i use the vesync app for all of my house lights and that way you could allow others to connect via their phones. No problems here on ios.
Cons
The way to invalid wifi password is to reset the password on your wifi router. Every once in a while, i step on the scale and nothing happens except for the zero showing.
The body fat percentage is off by a lot. I also wish they would report muscle mass in lbs, not percent. The other calculations are off by 75% on average. Don't count on this scale to give you precise bmi or body fat measurements.
The esf-551 is far more accurate on the other body measurements. It is extremely confusing. I'm not sure what algorithm or science is behind this device.

1st scale i bought was terrible, the app had advertising you can't remove and their account feature was terribly made.
Brand that sometimes would over 10 minutes to show up on the app.
Price
For the price it seems like a great value.
$50 seemed like a reasonable amount of money for a smart scale.
Competitiveness
Second one was ge brand, and i didn't like it.
So i am guessing the most difficult part of making a product is having a reliable app and that's where vesync seems to work.
