The westone and etymotic are a must-have at any music venue. The sound quality doesn't drop, everything is just quieter. It's like switching from your expensive home audio system to a portable bluetooth speaker.

The westone ones cost more than the competitors i saw, but i went by it being a much better known company than some of the other ones on amazon. An absolute godsend. Cannot recommend enough.
Cons
Sizes could not be interchanged. Not very comfortable for me, either. They work, sort of and they're cheap.
I thot these had some module in them that would somehow electronically cancel noises and even tho there appears to be some kind of electronics, they are no better than regular ear plugs. The sound is severely colored.

These are not for extremely high noise levels like firearm shooting or around large engines etc
