With the hf3, i had a much harder time twisting the earphones to eliminate the vacuum suction so that i could take them out.
The sound quality is 3/5the ambient sound reduction 5/5built quality - 2/5, glued parts of the buds started to crack.
The sound quality is not like bose expensive ones but it's good enough and it does great job blocking the noise specially on the airplane.
Price
Sound quality is good, but wont really know if the price is worth it till i see how long they last.
Competitiveness
None of the conventional in-ear earphones reduced environmental noise as well as these for me.
These are my favorite in-ear noise isolating headphones i have ever owned.
