Price
As a first-time robot vacuum owner, i wanted to start with an affordable option, and this model has been a pleasant surprise!
The suction power is fantastic—much better than i expected for the price.
The bottom line: for $280, this vacuum rocks.
I recommend spending the extra $100 and get this model.
Shipping
It took 3 days and 4 runnings to see lots of improvement.
Due to doctors appointments and other obligations the amazon box sat unopened for 12 days.
My unit was not shipped with a user manual and should have been.
Eventually, it got free and i was grateful, but upon further inspection, the side brush had snapped off and was lodged in the slipper.
Packaging/appearance
We only had to attached the side brushes, remove some packaging, and she was ready to run out of the box - charged and ready to go.
Competitiveness
I decided to keep this model because it was value-priced, well built and better than lower cost competitor models.

Had 2 earlier models - both robovac 30 - with two rotating brushes that cleaned better in my opinion.
This is in no way an insult to irobot, but not everybody can just drop nearly a grand on most things, especially a vacuum.
