Work great, one camera i have in a spot that gets a lot of sun, the other gets less and needed to be manually recharged after 3 months.
The cameras are so heavy and long they will drop down.
Alarm is piercingly loud both on the camera and on the home base.
Price
Bought this on sale and love the local storage.
No fees for storage, great picture/video quality and great features.
I got the 2 solar cam + base station on sale for a great price.
Got these on sale but honestly would have been happy at full price now that they are up
Competitiveness
Be nice to have a monitor where you can see all your cameras at once, like some competitor brands offer.
Before this i tried a cheaper brand which was a similar bundle and the base station and cameras had antenna on them.
This brand is more costly than several competitors, but having better solar panels and an expandable hd option are worth the extra $$.
Oh, and the picture is clear but like i mention the cheaper competition brand i tried had a faster live stream.

The mounting screws are honestly kind of crappy and are super easy to strip

In the set up they say to install it at an angle so pir works better but that make faces seen from the side and it always ark is this an human

Only tip dont bother using the screws it comes with for mounting the cameras they are fairly low quality and can strip very easily

Motion sensing works well in my open backyard but in a busy large driveway it misses some motions on the far right side of the driveway or it starts recording late

Unfortunately the lack of homekit support is very frustrating especially given the price of this setup

I hope ankereufy are prioritizing development of this feature but it’s been a long time with no update despite this set showing homekit development is in progress with the amazon product page

I received a low battery warning for it and unfortunately it auto shut off later that day with minimum action
