Pros

It’s not cloud-based, so there are no subscription costs. It has a 1 tb storage drive, which allows you to save recordings up to 10 days. Also really appreciate not having to have a subscription anywhere for storage.

Camera's paired effortlessly to the homebase and have been providing 24/7 recording. We had a handyman set this system up and would recommend the same - or an electrician - if you're unsure.

Smart recording with facial recognition that knows family from strangers. The ai also learns people's hates and notifies you of specific family members by name. Workwell and notifications are fast.

The eufy camera system alleviates both of those concerns for us. It works quite well but isn't nearly as polished as this system.

Cons

I have no idea how anyone actually installs this outdoors, unless they are an electrician, have electrician friends, or pay for one. As it is it's not really usable outdoors and it's quite awkward indoors as well.

The zoom is not an optical zoom, what it does is just blow up the image digitally, so if its not clear before you zoom, it will not be clear after the zoom. They disconnect where i cannot see a live view.

The audio is insanely bad. The audio latency is bad and the speaker and mic are just really bad. If you plan on using it alot for 2 way talking and rely on audio, this is not it.

I couldn’t find any other brand that came close to eufy.
