Cons

These products are not consistent and i’ve done a fair bit of diagnosing to ensure proper connections / settings are in place. Pet detection fails, failing to recognize any of my dogs and cats. Restart it by unplugging it.

Disconnecting requires removing the camera from settings, bringing a usb connection, capturing an okr code, and redoing the entire setup. Camera's are useless unless i go reconnect each individual to the app and skip the homebase.

Despite a lot of posturing, the homebase 3 is not homekit compatible. If you are looking to upgrade your homebase to this model, it's probably best to save your money.

It has that option if you want to pay for that but this in one year pays for itself.

I wish it were a bit cheaper though, but with no subscription it is the way to go.
