The setup was easy but keep in mind to have to re-sync your existing cameras with them near the hb3.
Competitiveness
I had a a bunch of eufy cameras with memory cards, it’s nice to have clips now saved centrally on this device vs.
It was a little hard to set up from previous eufy tower, which just stopped working but we'll see.

Yes you have to take down your cameras hold the sync button til it beeps and add them

But an unwelcome loss of functionality is unlike homebase 2 the homebase 3 does not support the option of wifi access to the router

It can only be connected to router with ethernet cable which can lead to loss of signal to cameras that are located some distance from the hombase 3 as you cant move the homebase 3 away from the router to be closer to any of the remote located cameras unless you have a really long ethernet cablewiring

Was using homebase 2 for few years until they announced version 3 and my homebase 2 stoped working in the same day
