It pick up all of my rabbit's hairs and pulverized calcium tablet bits. It scares my two dogs and my cat to death. They are our house companions and are burglar alarms that never fail to work.
Just bought this little guy @ costco. And for $35-$40 bucks. And it's so cute! Whenever this one quits i plan on getting another one just like it!
There is a fine mesh screen filter (like the ones for lint in the dryer) it seems to catch dirt just fine. This makes vacuuming fun!

A toothbrush or a high quality, dry paper towel remedies this problem.
So finding a vacuum that didn't have that feature made me so happy!

It's lightweight and has a powerful motor.
I bought this vacuum when the only carpet in my house was a 5x8 area rug.

The frequency with which you will have to check and empty the dust cup will be at best infuriating

The solution to this has been to move quickly when vacuuming the hard wood andor to use the brush carpet mode
