This is a great latch, i feel very confident we can open it 1 handed while carrying the little one. They are very toddler proof, even if your toddler has pretty good ninja skills.

The only problem i ran into was the screw length. Use the right size drill bit, use a level, screw the screws into wood or anchors by hand.

The only thing this product has going for it is its neutral color. Instructions are barely legible because of the poor english translation.

It's too easy to pull on the bannister to unlatch the gate. The tiny hex screws you adjust the width of the gate with are a joke. The adapter for the stair posts is just a piece of wood with velcro type straps.

The lock only works because that pin gets held inside the wall-mounted socket. It often isn't really securely locked when the indicator says it is.
