Evenflo everystage lx has nice padding, a comfortable seat, and comfortable headrest area. The car seat is extremely padded, and looks comfortable for any baby. The fabric is very soft to the touch and no sign of being scratchy.

It feels extremely well assembled and nicely made. Well made, easy to install and use. The only complaint is the price.

The dlx has a ratchet system on one side, which makes tightening the seat very easy. Easy to install in the car with the car seat fasteners. Easy adapting the seat to different positions is easy.

This is an excellent car seat that will work for children up to 120 ibs. It achieves that extended capability by shifting the design towards older children, and sacrificing comfort for the very young. Our little one loves this seat and never complains... Read More

Cons

The idea is to be easy, but this is just not even remotely functional. Had to use the regular seatbelt and lock that in place to give it any front to back stability. The only plus is this seat weighs like 50 pounds less than the dlx version.
