Pros

It isn't the tallest gate so if you have a dog that would tend to jump it, you may need to mount it a bit higher off the floor to prevent that. It works for keeping young children out of the kitchen. It keeps my dog out and away from my new carpet.

Took maybe 15 minutes from unpack to install. Installation is quick and easy using eye bolts that are included.

Cons

Quite dissatisfied due to that major failure. The black plastic part on top is clunky and bulky. It's not safe apparently.

Super easy to set up and sturdy

I had this same gate in the light color for 5 years out in all types of weather and wood finally broke on bottom-right.

My dogs are just "a" holes and destroyed this gate after a month of use.

Price

This is great, affordable solution to keeping our puppies out of certain parts of our house!

They are also very pricey if you need one for a wide opening and then the door is the same size (narrow) as a gate for a smaller opening!

I liked the dark wood one better so paid more this time for the gate but it's worth it to me.
