I use it to keep the kiddo out of the kitchen and it's my favorite buy. The one and only downfall is that shorter persons have a hard time stepping over it if it is at the bottom/top of stairs.

It self stands and can be configured in so many ways. It adjusts to fit a large variety of spaces easily and felt impressively secure. The top and bottom width can vary somewhat to accommodate for baseboards, uneven walls, etc.

It stretches over the hood perfectly.

Trying to slide the poles into the cloth sheath. Not sturdy at all, if i touch it slightly the entire thing falls over. It twists up like a helix and it next to impossible to manage. Plus, one of the padded ends keeps popping off.

This product was damaged beyond use on arrival. The cost of shipment is literally the same as the cost of the product. The rubber ends that meet the walls come off and get lost easily.
