Pros

This is one of the best bags out int he market. For my first setup it's not bad, but now i know what to look for.

I've come to expect little things like this to happen when having large items like this shipped. I also have the bag indoors, which no doubt prolongs its durability. Seems to hold up well after 7 months of infrequent use.

I like that it has additional padding for the area you're striking the majority of the time.

The everlast bag has the correct fabrication for a punching bag. It is a very hard bag but softens with use. Makes for a good workout, and builds arm strength and stamina.

It uses straps instead of chains. Has a good tie strap and is effective to add weight when taking hikes to build up endurance. It is 100lbs of dead weights, careful where you place it, especially if it's hanging off a wooden pillar of some sort.

Cons

Spend a bit of extra cash and avoid the hassles.

I wanted to give this a three but really my disappointment is more about my expectations than the quality of of the bag.

Got what i expected, shipping was accurate, can't complain.

I paid ninety five dollars with shipping.

I bought this bag for $75 w/ free shipping and no sales tax.

This may seem like a nice 100lb heavy bag to workout with, especially for $60 or $75 with free shipping.

I like the way this absorbs excess testerone in the garage rather than the testerone leaking out in the house!

Competitiveness

Using 14oz gloves (compromise) i get a really good 15-20 minute workout every other day.

Big disappointment - looked minor, but i just knew that was bad for a 100lb bag i planned to beat up.
