The sound is as authentic as an actual ring timer. The boxing rounds are perfection and were already pre-programmed on the unit. My only gripe with it is that the elastic velcro arm band slips down your arm during intense rounds.

It also has a stopwatch. Once you do it once, it's easy. Simple to use, large start/pause button. It's easy to set, and helps him progress through the run.

This item is garbage. Complete junk. Very disappointing. If something happens, and i'm unable to make it, i am so disappointed.

The screen appears locked and won't reset. The * are so small and hard to press. I'm not aware that i bumped or knocked hard enough to cause the lcd to be illegible.

Timer is too big for someone like myself, who has a small wrist. I suspect moisture caused the problem because it was near my sweaty clothes for about a day. Maybe use it as a sweatband timer for your forehead!

Amazon has no support for this product. don't waste your time with the useless search function on the everlast page. Also, thanks a lot to amazon for offering no support.
