Pros

In my opinion, the upgraded swivel is better. The hinge that the bag hangs from isn't quite as noisy as the reviews that i read. Well worth the money. Comes with the everlast heavy bag and speed bag platform combo.

The adjustments are nice for different heights. I like that it is adjustable without tools after it is assembled.

Cons

Assembly instructions are a joke, probably better without. Doesn't include hardware to mount to wall. Cut my hand on the edge of the plastic rim and the finish surface of the pressboard. No reference to where a good starting height for mounting would ... Read More

Only one adjustment pin is spring loaded. One knob is so close to the wall that it can't be turned properly without a tool. Because the knobs are cranked down so tight utilizing the adjustment on the stand is no longer and easy process.

They look like they came with the product.

Competitiveness

More expensive ones might be better, but this platform is solid, and feels good/rebounds well.

You can't build one for much cheaper and trust me it won't be nearly as good as this one, i know, i tried to.

I'd prefer it higher maybe 1-2 inches, but i can't slide it up any higher.
