Pros
The mitts are easy to put on and take off thanks to them using a kind of glove design over the back of the pad. The gel pad really helps protect my wrists. Fits well on my hand & good padding. Protects the wrist very efficiently.
The padding is decent and absorbs the impact from the punches relatively well. They have a good amount of impact absorption yet are not soft/mushy. They really absorb the impact.
The evergel mantis mitts are a definite improvement over the everhide ones. Many are mistaken with the similar name, and the evergel ones are excellent.
Cons
The mitts are sub-standard quality and not durable. The padding is extremely too flimsy.

If the quality is there, we expect it to last a few years just like the other boxing mitts we own.
Everlast did an awesome job manufacturing this product.
Plus, you can't really go wrong with the price of about $36.
Nice quality, only used once so far though.

I had a pair that were flat without the mantis shape that these have and they were horrible

They would always slip off of my hand when i held them during practice and they just didnt offer enough cushion
