Pros & Cons
Pros
If they work well, we will be ordering more. As long as one realizes that this provides a small coverage area, then this is a good purchase. This is a fairly good bargain as it works out to 34 cents per bandage.
These nonstick bandages are 2x2 gauze with a surrounding one-inch adhesive border. The coverage area is about half the size of the bandage but, the adhesive is great.
These bandages have a thicker gauze pad in the middle. They all loosen quickly as we bend and dress. They have enough padding without being bulky.
These are standard dressings to help with bandaging wounds. Can be used to cover anything from a cut or abrasion to a weeping wound. The entire pad is breathable, which will promote healing.
Absorbency is no problem with this dressing. Also applied one to my forearm. Irritation to my skin is now able to heal due to not having to use the tape.
Cons
Product is alright, but padding is a little thin and boarder don't stick the best. The pad is only 2x2. The adhesive is 1 in wide all around but won't adhere well.
Highlights
Quality
I highly recommend these dressing pads, they are made with quality, non-irritating materials and offer great protection and coverage.
I am a cancer patient so i am cognizant of the need for medical supplies.
I will continue to buy this product until the wound is healed.
The bandage coverage is 2 inches and the entire coverage is 4 with the sticky sides.
Price
I thought the price was high, but now i'm thrilled and feel it's worth every penny.
Packaging/appearance
On each bandage as well the outside of the box there’s a lot number, manufacturing date, and an expiration date.
The packaging was a little difficult to open, but manageable.
Note, too, that while the packaging says the distributing company is in california, the bandages are actually made in p.
Competitiveness
The center absorbs more than regular bandaids.
I bought these after having plantars warts surgically removed from the bottom of my foot.
The area affected was larger than most bandaid type bandages would cover so needed a 4x4 dressing.
On my follow up appt the nurse saw the irritation around my wound and gave me a tegaderm film to replace the tape.
