In everything is f*cked, mark manson warns to against the nature of our desires. Manson lays out a thoughtful case for why we are struggling individually and as a society.
This book goes much more in-depth and centers around the author's philosophy of existential nihilism. This book feels accessible to everyone but i think it will hit even harder if your mind is already exploring existential and nihilist thoughts.

The title even confirms authors pessimistic message by stating that everything is f'ed.

After the first 2 chapters, it gets too repetitive and verbose. Almost each chapter becomes messy, with loooong pages of brainstorming. This book rambles endlessly.

It took a while for the book to pick up and get to some points i almost quit in the first half but glad i pushed through because the second half is where the good stuff is

Not sure i agree with mark’s views on ai toward the end of the book but it’s hard to argue that things are not rapidly headed toward a world controlled by ai
