Pros
Used in clubsport muffler upgrade on 2017 vw gti. Used this to connect the muffler. Product seems quality from the included parts to the stainless finish. Although maybe not the exact niche of item i needed for my diy truck exhaust.
Cons
The clamp crushes around the exhaust instead of pinching the exhaust together. Very very flimsy. Even tried using a coke can to shim it, but still too loose.
These may work if you have a small hole in your exhaust or to affix a tail pipe extender. Would not fit exhaust pipe without removing center spacer. Seems like you'd want to yield the ears of the center aluminum part a bit to get the band a bit tighte... Read More

Items fit well and seem to be of good quality
Nice chromed out butt clamp, fit great , easy to use , and strong.
Flange bolts and holes had rusted off exhaust pipe so was not connected to muffler.
I understand the material is flexible and stuff, but mine came almost completely squished like a pancake.
Price
If i wanted perfect i would have went to an exhaust shop and spent much more than the $10 spent here.
You can not beat the quialty and price that evil energy products puts out.
Especially if you can't afford to put a new exhaust pipe.

But i ordered to big and forgot to request a return on time.
Competitiveness
This is substantial and much better than those cheap couplings at the auto part store that only have one screw.
These clamps are the same quality metal as any other store for around $10 less than big name stores.

Bought this to bridge the gape between ends after i cut them off

Cannot hear the leak under normal throttle and acceleration but can hear it if revving high and backing off quickly

Not sure if the leak is due to my application gap between pipe ends or due to it arriving out of shape see pic and needing some encouragement to get back

Had to slice a pipe for fuel tank removal and used this for a butt connection
