Seams to work well on my 455 oldsmobile engine. Seems to work fine as a fuel line check valve for my 2006 polaris ranger 500. This is what i needed.

Cons

No flapper. Where is that flapper now? I am upset that the failure of this inexpensive valve will now cause me to somehow get the flapper out of my water heater.

The hose barbs are not 1/2” as advertised. They are smaller. The two i received by dial caliper are 13/64-inch / ~5. They fit with a lot of slop.
