It's not flimsy at all and is secured to the carpet. Once it's down, though, it makes a wheeled chair glide smoothly.

The desk mat makes it easy to swivel from desktop to laptop on this mat. The rounded shape and small footprint makes it less like an office item.

The mat is too soft, causing my chair to basically sink into the material. This makes rolling around impossible which defeats the purpose of why i bought it. Indents and then the wheels get stuck.

Product description says it's designed for thicker carpets. I'm not sure an office mat this thin would work on any carpeting. This one is not very sturdy as it has already developed divots where the wheels of my chair sit on the mat.

Seemed to have some oily areas within that section as well. If i had ordered an paid for an open box, that would be different - i’d expect it to look scuffed, scratched and used - but not when i pay full price!
