The pad is not sturdy and indents when i set in my chair making it difficult to roll or adjust. An empty chair left alone for an hour leaves divots. If you follow directions to flatten it, it does lay flat after a few hours.

The good is that it should last longer because it is thicker and more flexible (the thinner stiffer ones cracked earlier in life).
The right amount of thickness is what i was looking for and should last me for about 2 years.

The bad is that in a short time in a day your weight and the chairs will make divots where it sits
