Pros

Price is less than the $100+ epson bulbs and some of the other generic brands. Took about two minutes to undo the 3 screws, pull out the old bulb, slip this one in, redo the screws. It does the trick and was a great price compared to the oem lamps.

Bright, clear colors and no overheating. Epson 1040 bulb is noticeably brighter.

Cons

This bulb has a 180 day/3000hr warrantee. It works, but there is an issues where it dims slightly and get's brighter and it cycles through this type of flicker with the bulb. These bulbs are cheap knockoffs and should be avoided.

Was working great for about 2 months and all of a sudden the projector lamp light appeared

After hundreds of hours of use i noticed the images just werent as bright as when this outstanding projector was fist put into use

And theyre too expensive to be inconsistent

I should have spent the extra getting a true epson replacement

What a surprise it was to find this after market replacement on amazon and at a reasonable price

Wish you could get a discount for ordering regularly
