As stated this doesnt really mount firmly on the stove frame so is not an exact fit ge older stove and the wires are excessively long

The burner block will be damaged by the old corroded burner connections even if you try to clean them up the arcing between the two causes the block to heat up and burn

Inspect the ends of the burner closely if the blocks are going bad often

Original item had degraded due to age and heat exposure fell apart

That was after the element degraded to the point where it was arcing to the pot that was sitting on it
